MUNICIPAL REQUIREMENTS FOR NYSECC AND HERS RATINGS

Town of Southampton:
Compliance with NYSECC and HERS®- Dwellings with up to 4,500 sq ft of conditioned space must achieve a rating of 54 or less. Dwellings with over 4,500 sq ft of conditioned space must achieve a rating of 35 or less. Manual J Report, Manual D Report, Manual J Report, and RESCHECK required with permit submittal. Blower door and duct testing required.
Town of East Hampton:
Compliance with NYSECC and HERS®- Dwellings with up to 4,500 sq ft of conditioned space must achieve a rating of 54 or less. Dwellings with over 4,500 sq ft of conditioned space must achieve a rating of 35 or less. Manual J Report, Manual D Report, Manual S Report and RESCHECK required with permit submittal. Blower Door and duct testing required.
Village of East Hampton:
Compliance with NYSECC demonstrated by providing a full HERS® analysis and a score of 54 or less. Manual J,S & D Reports and RESCHECK required with permit submittal. Blower door and duct testing required.
Town of Southold
Compliance with NYSECC and Rescheck required at time of permit submittal. Manual J, Manual D, Manual S Reports required prior to HVAC work. Blower door and duct testing required.
